THOMBO RIDERS

THOMBO RIDERS are the explorers, warriors, and law folk of Jorune’s final frontier: Skyrealms. They bond with thombos, raising the fiercely loyal pack animals from a young age to be their trusty steeds and traveling companions for journeys through the realms.

The world of Jorune and the Thombo Riders that inhabit it are the creation of Andrew Leker and Miles Teves in Skyrealms of Jorune, published by SkyRealms Publishing, then later Chessex. The rider roll mechanics in this game are inspired by Orbital Blues from SoulMuppet Publishing and Daggerheat from Darrington Press. “Upper Hand” and “Against the Odds” are directly from Orbital Blues because the terms are just so good. Thombo Riders is an independent production by birdmilk and is not affiliated with the SoulMuppet Publishing, Darrington Press, Skyrealms Publishing, or Chessex.
